Greg’s Background

Greg brings more than 13 years of data storage experience and over a decade of IT sales experience to the Viyu team. He began his career at IBM as a territory sales executive, and later worked in sales for Hewlitt-Packard Enterprise. In 2013, he began working in storage, joining EMC as a data protection and cloud specialist. He has also held roles for Tintri, ExaGrid and most recently Druva, with experience in primary storage, production storage, backup and disaster recovery, and cyber security. In 2026, Greg joined the Viyu team, where he is excited to bring customers a wider variety of solutions, including on premise, cloud-based, managed services and hybrid solutions. Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas, and has completed multiple certification programs in IT sales and management.

What value do you bring to Viyu and its clients?

Greg specializes in helping customers solve problems that other vendors or solutions could not resolve. Over the years, he has gained extensive storage experience and worked collaboratively with leading software vendors, including Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, Veeam, Commvault and VMware. He understands the value of working across platforms to develop the best solutions for clients—and through his experience, he has gained insights that help Viyu customers get the best results.
