Chris’s Background
As a virtual CIO, Chris provides technology direction for organizations that may not have a full-time CIO. He has worked in Managed Services since 2013, supporting organizations with as few as one user, up to 1000 users. Previously, he worked in management at Starbucks, where he benefited from the company’s cultural focus on personal development, leadership skills, and team building. Chris is active in his community, and has volunteered with Minnie’s Food Pantry and Live Green Plano, as well as personal coaching and mentorship programs. He enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking, boating and outdoor sports.
What value do you bring to Viyu and its clients?
Chris listens carefully to customers and helps them articulate the business challenges they face. Then, he partners with them to solve their challenges through technology and operational awareness. Chris has a strong ability to connect business decisions to operational platforms, excels at developing business processes, and always ensures solutions are scalable, cost effective, and add value to the business. He appreciates the fact that Viyu invests in its employees, its business and its customers. “From developing our own virtual private cloud, to restructuring our operations, we constantly work to become more agile to meet increasingly competitive market demands,” Chris says. “Our entire leadership team is very approachable and we hold ourselves to a strong sense of integrity.”
