THE KEY RESULT
Custom Network Installed in Under a Month
Viyu designed and implemented Wingstop’s Cisco Meraki network on an accelerated timeline, enabling 20% of employees to move into the company’s new headquarters early.
01 — The Challenge
Wingstop was preparing its new corporate headquarters in Addison, Texas while experiencing rapid growth in its digital business.
The company knew it needed a strong wireless environment but hadn’t yet determined which technology solution would best meet its requirements.
Originally, Wingstop expected to have a full year to plan, evaluate, and implement the new network through a phased approach.
COVID-19 changed that timeline.
With employees working remotely and renovations accelerating, Wingstop decided to prepare the headquarters for employees to return much sooner than originally planned.
The network needed to be operational in less than a month.
02 — The Viyu Solution
Viyu worked collaboratively with Wingstop to evaluate technology options and design a custom Cisco Meraki environment around its requirements.
An initial design was ready within 24 hours, and the complete network was designed and implemented within a month.
Cisco Meraki Network
The new environment provided a secure, scalable networking platform with centralized visibility and analytics.
Indoor & Outdoor Wireless Coverage
Because Wingstop’s headquarters was designed with indoor and outdoor workspaces, Viyu ensured employees could maintain connectivity throughout the facility.
Coverage extended beyond the building to areas including the front entrance, second-floor patio, and executive team’s third-floor balcony.
Discreet Wireless Design
Viyu worked creatively to ensure the wireless infrastructure blended into the architecture and wasn’t visibly disruptive to the building’s design.
End-to-End Infrastructure Coordination
Viyu coordinated with cable and electrical companies to help ensure all critical infrastructure was implemented seamlessly.
Dedicated Project Team
Wingstop had access to a dedicated Viyu Project Manager, Technical Architect, Senior Engineer, and Account Executive to streamline communication and execution throughout the project.
