Pate Rehabilitation provides research-based, individualized care for stroke and brain injury patients across locations in Dallas, Irving, Anna, and Fort Worth.
Managing patient data across multiple locations requires a secure and reliable technology environment. While most of Pate Rehabilitation’s servers were up to date, an aging server at the Fort Worth location had begun causing problems and needed to be replaced.
The organization needed a highly available Windows Server domain controller and file server with reliable backups that could integrate with its existing network and remain accessible from any location.
Business continuity was also a concern. When power outages occurred, IT staff previously needed to remotely shut down the server to avoid damage, leaving employees unable to work until power was restored.
