THE KEY RESULT
28 Locations | 6.5 TB | 305+ Users | 13 Workstreams
Viyu completed 13 technology workstreams across Impact Floors’ newly acquired locations, consolidating users, data, devices, identity, networking, and Microsoft 365 into a unified environment designed for continued growth.
01 — The Challenge
When Impact Floors acquired a 28-location flooring company, its IT footprint effectively doubled overnight.
More than 305 employees across locations throughout the United States depended on email, file shares, and line-of-business applications for daily operations. But the two organizations were operating with separate Microsoft 365 tenants, network infrastructure, identity systems, and device environments.
Impact Floors needed to consolidate 6.5 TB of Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive data into a single secure environment without disrupting operations.
The goal wasn’t simply to migrate technology. Impact Floors needed to create a standardized IT foundation capable of supporting continued national growth and future acquisitions.
02 — The Viyu Solution
Viyu developed a structured four-phase migration strategy designed to protect business continuity while progressively integrating the acquired organization.
Phase 1 — Discovery & Secure Foundation
Viyu audited all 28 locations, reconciled Microsoft 365 accounts, mapped data across Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive, and aligned on-premises Active Directory with Microsoft Entra ID.
Phase 2 — Infrastructure Modernization
A new Microsoft 365 environment was provisioned, Microsoft Intune was configured for centralized device management, and Cisco Meraki networking was standardized across locations.
Phase 3 — Pilot Migration
Viyu completed an end-to-end pilot migration at the Carrollton, Texas location, validating mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, device enrollment, business applications, and workflows before expanding the migration nationwide.
Phase 4 — Nationwide Deployment
After validating the process, Viyu rolled out the migration across all 28 locations at a pace of approximately 50–70 users per week while maintaining operational stability.
