City of Bridgeport

The City of Bridgeport requested a proposal to replace the aging laptops installed in eleven police cruisers.  Viyu Network Solutions evaluated the city’s requirements and engaged industry leading manufacturers of equipment.  The department required rugged touch-screen tablets which could be docked in the cruiser or taken out of the vehicles in order to accomplish tasks efficiently.  Other requirements were high performance, night-lit keyboards, movable docks and complete installation.

Working side by side with the Bridgeport’s IT staff and their officers, we were able to ensure that the equipment chosen was exactly what the police department needed. Viyu then ordered, staged, configured and installed the equipment which consisted of tablets, keyboards, docks and specialized power equipment.  Finally, training was performed and was done over a timeframe acceptable to the City’s requirements.
